Protecting forests around the globe
The Global Forests Collection protects over 880K acres of land across three continents, including Africa, Asia and North America. The collection includes protection of important carbon sinks such as a huge area of peatlands in Indonesia, incredible dryland forest in East Africa, and old growth hard and softwoods in the Northeast United States. The projects also protect a huge variety of ecological habitats from endangered orangutans and clouded leopards to elephants and innumerable birds and small mammals.
